Dog Fun
Where your four-legged family members are welcomed and celebrated
Finally, a Place That Gets It
We know your dogs aren't just pets, they're family. And family should be included in family celebrations. That's why Sunny Slope Venue is proudly one of the few venues in Loudoun County that doesn't just tolerate dogs, but genuinely welcomes them with open arms.
Whether you're looking for a safe place for your dogs to play while you celebrate, planning a dog-inclusive family event, or just want to give your furry friends some farm time, we understand that your pets' happiness is part of your happiness.
We're honest, transparent, and upfront about everything. Our property is a working farm with open fields and plenty of space for dogs to explore and be dogs. Like most farms, we don't have fenced areas, which means your pets get to experience real farm life with room to roam. We believe in giving you all the information you need to decide if our farm setting is right for your furry family members.

FAQs
Here's the scoop on everything you probably want to know about bringing your dogs to our farm.
Before You Come
Q: What do I need to bring for my dog?
A: Make sure your pup is up to date on shots, bring water and maybe some treats. Since we're not fenced, your dog should be good with voice commands. Oh, and definitely bring bags to clean up after your pet!
Q: Is this right for my dog?
A: If your dog gets grumpy with other dogs, this might not be the right fit. We want every pup to have a great time! Also, check that your dog is feeling good that day before coming out.
Q: Should I bring a leash?
A: Maybe bring a long leash just in case. Since we're an open farm, it's good to have options depending on how your dog is feeling that day.
Q: What about kids and other dogs?
A: Keep an eye on kids around unfamiliar dogs. Every dog is different, and we want everyone to feel comfortable and safe.
When You're Here
Q: What's expected of me as a dog parent?
A: Clean up after your dog right away, be cool about other people's comfort levels with dogs, and just be the kind of dog parent that makes everyone else happy too.
Q: What if my dog is having an off day?
A: No worries, just head out! Watch for signs your dog is getting tired or stressed. We totally get that some days just aren't good days, even for dogs.
Q: Can my dog interact with other people and pets?
A: Ask before your dog says hi to other people or pets. Not everyone is comfortable with dogs, and that's okay.
Q: What about during events or ceremonies?
A: Keep your dog chill during any ceremonies happening. We want everyone to enjoy their special moments, both two-legged and four-legged guests!
Still have a question?
